FREE JOB SEARCH LINKEDIN COACHING! Many of you have asked for this and we are answering! We are offering two separate interactive Sessions – “Setting up your LinkedIn Profile to Get a Job” and “Networking on LinkedIn to Get a Job”. Go to the registration link for requirements to join each session.

Our President,  Annette Monks, will draw from her 30 years of experience in staffing to share advice for how to effectively use LinkedIn for getting your next job. Annette works directly with the participants in a small interactive setting. This is the time and place to ask those questions you always wanted to about how hiring managers perceive your profile and what to do to get noticed!   

This coaching is hands-on and interactive, so space will be very limited. Register for one of the two sessions or both! Please confirm that this time and date will work for you before you register so we don’t hold a spot if you are unable to attend. 

Session 1 – Setting up your LinkedIn Profile to Get a Job 

Tuesday, September 1st @ 10am – 11am

This session is designed for people who:

  • Have a LinkedIn profile started but really are not sure what information should or should not be included.
  • Already have a LinkedIn profile (or at least the skeleton of one) set up but are not sure what to do with it and would like to understand its basic functionality.
  • Really don’t understand the benefits of using LinkedIn for a job search and would like to know what all the fuss is about.
  • Want to know how to find connections and jobs using search filters.
  • Want to know what hiring managers, recruiters, and staffing firms are looking for on the LinkedIn profiles and if what they have is appropriate and/or effective.

Requirements to join this session:

  • Must have a LinkedIn profile (even if it is a skeleton) set up in LinkedIn and be able to access it to work with.
  • Must be able to join a Zoom call with your video on using a computer or tablet so you can work with your own profile during the call.

 

Session 2 – Networking on LinkedIn to Get a Job 

Thursday, September 3rd @ 10am – 11am

During this session you will learn:

  • Who you should connect with, why you should connect with them, and how to effectively connect with them.
  • How to increase your odds of being considered for a job that you have applied for.
  • How to use your network for introductions that will get you in front of hiring managers.
  • How to obtain recommendations to differentiate you from other candidates applying for the same job.

Requirements to join this session:

  • Must have a LinkedIn profile completed and understand its general functions.
  • Must be able to join a Zoom call with your video on using a computer or tablet so you can work with your own profile during the call.
